We are here to help.
Created to help youth in crisis, New Growth Ministries began with a network of host families who provide food, shelter, and rest to youth in order to support and develop their resilience. Since 2011, New Growth Ministries has been working in collaboration with Safe Families For Children.
Safe Families for Children was founded in 2003 and is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that equips churches and other non-nonprofits with tools to provide hope and support to families in crisis. These groups of caring, compassionate, volunteer community members are located in 70 cities across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and beyond. They are motivated by faith to keep children safe and families intact.
COMING SOON - Santiam Teen Center! Starting in the 2018-2019 school year we will be providing an after-school Teen Center. We will provide kids between the ages of 13-17 with a fun and safe atmosphere providing snacks and dinner, help with homework, a gaming room, library, arts area, mentoring, job support, life skills and healthy, social interaction. Our trained volunteers will provide open ears, hearts and care that a lot of teens don't see or experience. We want this to be a home away from home; somewhere that teens feel comfortable and welcomed. This is possible only because of generous people like YOU. We are a non-profit who depend solely on the generosity of our volunteers and donors for housing, feeding, clothing and loving the children and teens who use our services.
