With much excitement, New Growth Ministries opened the Santiam Teen Center
in Stayton, Oregon, Fall of 2019.
The Santiam Teen Center is an after-school program open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:00pm-6:00pm. We provide students between the ages of 12-18 (and/or 7-12 grade) with a fun and safe atmosphere while serving snacks and dinner. Students will find opportunities for gaming, art, cooking, along with incredible volunteers to help with homework, mentorship, job support, life skills, and healthy social interaction. We want our teen center to be a home away from home - somewhere kids will feel safe, comfortable and welcome.
COVID-19 UPDATE:
The safety and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers and students are incredibly important to us. As we navigate the states regulations for social distancing and seek as much wisdom as possible, it is very important for the mental health of our students to try and stay open every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the school year. We will have a strict check-in process for each person who comes to the Teen Center, along with continuous cleaning and food precautions. If you have questions or concerns about the upcoming year, we would be happy to talk with you.
We are still taking registrations for the 2020-2021 school year. If you have a student who is interested in coming to the teen center, click here to download, print and complete the registration forms. Don't have a printer? Registration forms may also be picked up at the Santiam Teen Center located at 2800 Kindle Way, Stayton. Forms can be mailed in, or dropped off at the center during business hours.
We love our volunteers and are always looking for great people! Click HERE for a list of positions and a volunteer application packet.
